5th Day Colonial Day – Volunteers Needed!

Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Calling all 5th grade parents. Join us Friday, November 15th for a fun-filled day in Colonial America. On this day, students are asked to dress in Colonial attire and spend the day learning hands-on how to make things such as butter, candles, dolls and silhouettes. They will also learn about food the colonists ate, discover how they treated illness, and hear about military life from a colonial soldier.

This is an all-day event that needs your help. Click HERE to sign up. Morning and afternoon opportunities are available. Or, for even more Colonial fun, stay all day! Volunteers are also needed Wednesday, November 13th to assist students in sewing items to be worn on Friday.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
